COOKIE POLICY

The following is the extended information concerning the cookies installed on www.montura.com ('Site').

  1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?

A cookie is a small amount of data which, in the form of a unique anonymous code, is sent to the user's browser by a web server and then stored on the hard disk of the user's device (computer, smartphone and/or tablet). Cookies can be used either to allow the correct use of a website (so-called technical cookies), or to check the preferences expressed by the user during their web browsing in order to propose advertising messages to them in line with them (so-called profiling cookies).

Cookies can be stored on your device permanently and have a variable lifetime (so-called persistent cookies) or disappear when you close your browser or have a limited lifetime (so-called session cookies). Cookies can be installed by the Site you are visiting (so-called first-party cookies) or they can be installed by other websites (so-called third-party cookies).

  1. TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON THIS SITE AND PURPOSES

The Site uses the following cookies:

Technical cookies

These cookies enable the Site to function properly and allow content to be displayed in the language and for the market from the user's first access. They are able to recognise which country you are connecting from and act so that, each time you visit the Site, you are automatically directed to the version for your country. They also make it possible to create an account, log in and manage orders. If a user has registered, thanks to cookies, the Site will be able to recognise him/her when accessing the services offered to registered users. These cookies are necessary for the Site to function.

Analytical Cookies

These cookies allow statistical analysis of how users navigate on the Site. These cookies, as set by the Controllers, only allow the tracking of anonymous IP addresses (with part of the code not tracked), therefore, they do not allow any identification of the user and collect anonymous data. The user's consent is therefore not required for the use of anonymous analytical cookies, as they do not collect any personal data and are assimilated to technical cookies.

First-party and third-party profiling cookies

The Site uses profiling cookies, by means of which it is possible to note the preferences and habits detected during each visit and thus create profiles and/or to complete the user profile already present in our databases, to enable us to send the user messages that are more in line with their preferences and interests.

Third-party cookies are used by third-party companies and allow banner advertisements to be displayed on other affiliated sites (retargeting), showing the last products that were viewed on our site. While you are browsing the Site, these cookies are also used to show products that you may be interested in or similar to those you have previously viewed, based on your browsing history.
